Automatic sample analyser

Automatic sample analyser

The BITZER Automatic Sample Analyser is designed to optimize and streamline the time-consuming sample analysis process in grain laboratories.

Since the unloading of grain into specific storage facilities — determined by its quality — cannot begin until the analysis is complete, the process must be kept as short as possible. Our new, patented procedure allows for the determination of all relevant parameters of a grain lot, such as impurities, clean grain, small seeds, and hectolitre weight. When integrated with a NIR/Infratec analyzer, it also measures moisture, protein, sedimentation value, gluten, oil content, and other grain parameters. This fully automated process provides significant time savings compared to traditional manual measurement methods.

The system seamlessly integrates the NIR grain analyzer into the sample impurity analyzer, ensuring a bidirectional data exchange. This allows for the correct interpretation of results by both the impurity analyzer and the NIR unit, with all data stored in a single database and printed directly onto the sample label.

Bitzer — the fastest grain impurity assessment

Bitzer — the fastest grain impurity assessment

A presentation of equipment from the German company Bitzer,
designed for rapid assessment of grain and seed impurity at intake to elevators, terminals, grain
processing plants, and grain storage facilities.

The equipment significantly speeds up grain quality assessment with regard to impurity levels. At the
customer's request, the equipment can be configured for the simultaneous intake of two different
crops with separate requirements, criteria, and impurity assessment standards.

In this case, two impurity assessment modules are connected to the quality analyser.

After scanning the identification tag, the BITZER Automatic Sample Analyser is activated. Once the sample has passed through the cleaner, which also includes automatic weighing systems, the cleaned sample is placed into the NIR grain analyzer. The obtained results are verified and displayed on the integrated touchscreen of the central panel. As a result, the Automatic Sample Analyser prints a self-adhesive label for the stored sample. To collect all sample results in a single grain reception record and to provide the grain handling supervisor with the necessary quality data, an information network can be established connecting, for example, the weighbridge software and BITZER AGRAR.

In addition to connecting to our own systems, the Sample Analyser can be used as a standalone device, or the analytical system can be connected to third-party systems using an XML interface.

The simple operation of the Automatic Sample Analyser allows standard staff members to be responsible for measurements instead of experts. Thus, this new system significantly saves labor costs and minimizes operator errors. By integrating with existing laboratory instruments, the Automatic Sample Analyser requires significantly lower investment. In summary, the BITZER Automatic Sample Analyser provides a faster, cleaner, and quieter grain analysis procedure than conventional methods.
